Please find below a list of activities taking part in our Middlesbrough parks, ideal for the family, cheap and cheerful too:

 

Tuesday 9th April -10am to 2pm

Albert Park does the famous Teesside Rocks!!

Drop in session at Albert Park, pick a rock, decorate and hide away for another person to find-fantastic fun.

 

Thursday 11th April-1pm to 3pm

Tennis-Beginner Level

Come and join in with a trained coach and learn some beginner Tennis. Children aged 8-12 years old are welcome, especially with limited experience. there will be skills,drills and also some chance to play a game against others

Meet-At the Tennis Court-Albert Park

 

 

Friday 12th April-10am to 3pm

 

Easter Xplorer Map-£1

Why not try and complete the Easter Xplorer around Albert Park, easy peasy and lasts around 45 minutes.

Learn To Ride

 

Monday to Friday (15th April to 19th April)-Stewart Park

Cost-£20.00 per person

Want to learn to ride a bike? Let Middlesbrough Parks staff help you get there.  Three courses will be running this holida, take along your own bike and safety equipment and be prepared to ride outside. This is limited as a very popular event so ensure you check before arriving.

Bird cake making

Come and join the rangers in making feeders for the birds, activity costs £1.50 per person and is here to help along our feather friends.

Thursday 18th April-11am to 3pm

50p for 5 minutes.

Easter Trail

Friday 19th April-10am to 3pm

Attend the easter Trail and receive a chocolate surprise, limited numbers available-price to participate £1.50

About our Parks

There are also numerous other activities which both parks offer with Swan Boats in Albert Park from 11am to 3pm (last ticket 2.30pm), you can also play Tennis from 9am to 5pm with last ticket sales being at 4.45pm. Roller Skating at Albert Park for a fee and you can take part from 9am to 5.45pm (last sale 4.45pm)

 

With beautiful scenery, fishing facilities, the museums at both Dorman and Captain Cooks-you are guaranteed to find something to do with your family over Easter as well as any other time of the year.

 

Stewart Park also has the beautiful ponds, cafes and a lovely kids play area as well as the animals for them to visit too. With large spaces for parking, easy locality to bus routes-this is a great place for everyone.
